Almost There!

So, Kyle and his family started moving into their new house on Saturday December 18, and as of last night, is finally all moved in!!! With it being so close to Christmas, it has been very busy in both of my family and Kyle's family. I am so ready for Christmas to be here so I can enjoy the day and relax with the love of my life and the love of our families around us!! Kyle and I both have finally bought all of the presents and wrapped them all too, now it is time to settle down and relax! Thank you all that have helped with Kyle and his family move and everything else lately! We really appreciate it!!

Kyle is Officially Moving

So yesterday we found out that Kyle is officially moving and that the new owners want to move in on December 23 so they have to be out of the house by then. they want to move by this weekend if they can so they can set up their Christmas stuff again! I am so excited that they are moving to syracuse because they will be only 4 blocks away from my house!!! I could walk to their house if I wanted to!! maybe I will in the summer...when it's less cold...

Halloween

Kyle and I had so much fun this Halloween!! We carved a pumpkin...well...'I' Carved a pumpkin and it turned out SO cute!! It was a Frankenstein face!! I love it!! Kyle has always helped me in the past Halloweens but this year he claimed that he 'didn't know how' to carve a pumpkin, which was fine with me because me and some of my girl friends carved pumpkins together!! :)

This year for Halloween we couldn't decide on what we wanted to be. I asked on Facebook if anyone had any ideas. A few of my friends posted some great ideas (and I might use them in the next couple Halloweens)and my FAVORITE IDEA was from our friend Trevor. He said that we should be 'Burger King and Dairy Queen'! What an awesome idea!!! That's what we ended up doing! We found a Burger King mask and a Dairy Queen t-shirt on amazon.com for a total of $18!!! What a cheap Halloween!!

I love the Holidays, no matter which one, now I can't wait for Christmas!! But we can't forget Thanksgiving!! :) I can't wait to eat all that yummy food!! :) Time is FLYING!! I just wish it would slow down so I can actually enjoy the Holidays!!

Wedding Countdown

In August I went to a bridal show and entered my name in some drawings. To our surprise, I won 3 drawings!!!! One of the drawings I had to be present to win but since I worked the next day, when they were going to draw the winner, the kind lady told us that I could put my moms name on the drawing ticket too and if I get drawn for the winner, my mom could be present and claim the winnings!! Well...I WON THE GRAND PRIZE!!!!!! The grand prize was $2,500 towards pictures at Masterpiece Images!!!! I'm SO excited!!! I also one $300 towards food and/or services at Ivy Lanes Reception Center. And guess what...Masterpiece Images and Ivy Lanes Reception Center is in the same building, same place! So now I know where I'm getting my pictures at and where I'm having my reception at!!!

While I was at the bridal show, I came across a table where Davids Bridal was and they said that if I chose a date and time to come in to see them I could get a $50.00gift card to Davids Bridal. So this last Sunday, September 19, I went to go see what they had to offer. I looked at dozens of dresses and tried on 3 different dresses and...FOUND MY WEDDING DRESS!!!!!! My wedding dress was on sale and we didn't even know it till we were at the cash register!! Since I booked a date and time with them I also got an EXTRA $50.00 off on my dress!!! :) I love it when things are on sale and you don't even know it!! :)

Kyle told me that since he can't see my wedding dress, I can't see his tux...so I guess that sounds fair! ;)

Valentines Day

So Valentines Day wasn't too bad. I woke up, went to church and came back home and slept till 3:30. Haha! Kyle did get off work till 5:00 pm. So I didn't have much else to do and I was extremely tired so It was a nice lazy day. About 4:50 I called Texas Roadhouse and reserved a table for us and it was a 1 hour wait. So it was good that I called and reserved a table than wait in the lobby for an hour. Kyle's never been to Texas Roadhouse so it was a nice change! :) After dinner we went back to his house and made a toast to our relationship. Kyle bought me a movie called It's All About Steve, I thought that movie was so funny so he bought it for me. He also bought me a unicorn that has a certificate to purchase a star in the sky and name it! I didn't believe him at first until I saw it myself! He spoils me! He also bought me a pink Williams Jazz jersey and a HUGE Valentines Day Card!! I got him a Genuine Leather Wallet and a pillow for his bed since he was in desperate need of one! haha! I had so much fun! I love Kyle so much! I can't wait to live my life with Kyle by my side!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I know my family and I did! :)

So this year we had Thanksgiving over at my house. My mom volunteered since it would be the best for everyone this year. My mom of course goes all out and she did a wonderful job! the decorations were so pretty and the turkey was so moist! I love her turkey! She says the trick of a moist turkey is to bake the turkey in a bag! I had no Idea! I need to start learning some of her tricks before I get out on my own...

We had 14 people over at our house and that wasn't even the whole family! I love having the family come over though. That's why I love the holidays so much! We can just be together as a family and talk and catch up on things in life!

We started thanksgiving around 1:30 and didn't finish the food till about 3:00...wow, there was so much good food! I am still so stuffed! after we got done with the feast, we had, of course, the best pies in the world! Every year I get so rapped up into the food that I forget about the pies until they get pulled out and no one can pass up pie, even if you did eat too much and gain 10 lbs! lol

I had a good thanksgiving this year but I am so ready to put up our Christmas tree tomorrow! Christmas is my all time favorite holiday! :)

Fun Day at the State Fair

This is a picture of the Ventriloquist at the state fair on September 19, 2009. The women on the right is my friend Sarah's mom, Teresa. the Ventriloquist was wanting someone who can rap to come up on stage and sing and Teresa started to point to Kyle for him to rap, Kyle doesn't rap so he didn't want to. The Ventriloquist noticed Teresa trying to get Kyle to go up there. The Ventriloquist turned to Teresa and said "You girl, in the purple shirt, why don't you come up here" Teresa looked at him and said "no, pick Kyle" the Ventriloquist started to laugh and and finally convinced Teresa tocome up on stage to rap.

And here is Kyle and I enjoying every minute of this Ventriloquist concert! :) The Ventriloquist concert was just the opening show for what we really came there for. We really came to the State Fair to watch my friend Brady's Cousins Country Band named Eric Dodge. The main singer of the band and one of the guitarists are brothers and they are both Brady's Cousins. They were so good!!

Anniversary Week

So today marks an anniversary for me, I have been working here, at America First Credit Union, for 3 years now! That is some accomplishment, the longest I have stayed at a job! I am kind of proud of myself, but it also opened my eyes a little bit, I love working at my branch, all of my friends work there, but, what do I want to do when I grow up? Will I be working at America First my whole life? Or will I get another job? Doing what? I have no idea what I would even want to do.

Also, I am proud to announce, yesterday, my dad marked a 2 year anniversary of no Chewing Tobacco! My whole life my mom and I have been asking my dad, no, begging my dad to stop. He had always tried but it never worked. Well, on September 16, 2007, my dad decided to quit cold turkey on his own and hasn't touched it since! I am so proud of my dad, I will always envy my dad for doing that. I know it wasn't easy at all for him. I love you dad!

Computers...It's a love hate relationship

So...I have had my laptop, that my parents gave me for my graduation present, since May 2006. I love it, but the only problem with it is that the memory just seems to disappear from my laptop. I only had about 500 pictures on my 12G laptop and it said 1 week ago that I only had 700MB left on it. I don't know where all that space is going. Kyle said that he would format it for me, but the next day he called me and told me that there was some issues and that we would have to take it to a professional.

So my laptop has been in the shop for 1 week now and I have been so lost without it! Kyle bought me a dozen roses and a 120G Zune (like an IPOD but better! ;) lol) and I haven't been able to play with it or put songs on it or anything...I also haven't been able to post pictures on here and I apologise, once I get some free time from work and school I will post some pictures! :) Till then, Just enjoy my random posts! :)

P.s. Kyle is such a doll, he is the best boyfriend anyone could ever have, he treats me like a Queen! I love him so much!

Ready For School?

Fall 2008 was the last time I went to school, I took Spring 2009 and Summer 2009 off. I am now going back to school this Fall 2009. In a way I'm excited but in a way I'm kind of stressed and not wanting to go. If I pass all 5 of my classes this semester I can get my associates of General Sciences. That'll be exciting! Classes I'm taking this semester:

Spanish 1010
Math 1030
Economic 1010
Anthropology 1000
Dance 1010

All kind of hard classes, I've been strugling with Math, so I am praying and hoping that I will pass all my classes!! Wish me good luck this semester!! I start Monday 08/24/09.
